Frequently Asked Questions

Here are answers to the questions we're asked most often about the NDIS, funding, eligibility and how our support services work. Can't find what you're looking for? Get in touch and our team will help directly.

Once we receive your referral, we'll talk through your support needs and what we can offer, working collaboratively with you and the people in your support network. We then match you with a support worker who can provide person-centred, active support.
If you're self-managed, we'll invoice you directly. If you're plan-managed, invoices go to your plan manager. If your funding is managed by the NDIA, we arrange payment through the online NDIS participant portal. Not sure which applies to you? Give us a call and we'll talk it through.
We support you in achieving your goals and carrying out your daily living activities with confidence. We work alongside you every step of the way to get the best possible outcome for your situation.
Reach out and let us know your concerns — we welcome feedback, positive or negative. Every compliment or complaint is treated with confidentiality and sensitivity, and working through concerns together helps us keep improving the quality of care we provide.
All staff are screened and verified to ensure they have the skills needed to support you, with additional specialised training provided where a client's needs call for it. Staff undergo an annual performance appraisal, and Easecare is accredited against the NDIS Standards.
The NDIA (National Disability Insurance Agency) is an independent Commonwealth Government body that runs the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme). In practice, this means people with disability, along with their families and carers, get more choice and support over the services they receive.
Eligibility depends on meeting certain residency and disability requirements. If you already receive government funding for disability services, there's a good chance you'll also qualify for NDIS funding. You can check the residency and disability requirements on the NDIS website.
Yes. The NDIS is built around giving you choice and control over who delivers your support and how it's delivered. If you're already an Easecare client, you can keep things as they are or let us know about any changes you'd like. If you're new to services or switching providers, our team will work with you to set everything up around your individual goals.
You can make a complaint about NDIS service providers, or the support they provide, to the NDIS Commission at any time — online at ndiscommission.gov.au or by phone on 1800 035 544.
Our Handbook has more detail on how our services are delivered. Call us on 1300 646 122 to request a copy.
